Who are we?
Food Project Services Ltd (FPS) was set up by Kevin Wrathall in 2003 after a successful R&D career working large snack companies such as United Biscuits/KP Foods and Golden Wonder for over 20 years working on some iconic snack brands such as McCoys, Hula Hoops, Skips, Wotsits in the UK and internationally in Europe, Australia and in the USA working for the KeeblerCo brand for 18 months.
The FPS consultancy group was set up to support the needs of all food enterprises to scope out, concept design, develop, scale up and launch new or improved food products from the drawing board to launch.
FPS have worked on many projects in the UK and internationally including USA, Russia, Central Asia, Iran, Lebanon, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Armenia, Cypris, Greece, UAE and many other countries and in many food sectors including examples such as snacks, pickles, table sauces, spices, seasonings, and recipe mixes, high risk chilled foods and soups, soft drinks and more.
FPS have been involved in new innovative products where ideas need developing into launch-ready products, new developments of any existing brand or sector, improvements to the offering or the quality of the products, value engineering of products to maximise margins or developments to reflect legal, supply or any other requirements.
This can include as required: concept work and ideation; product development; cost and margins; ingredients and packaging sourcing; contract manufacturing sourcing and agreements; brand design and development, artwork, regulations, labelling and nutritional calculations, factory trials and scale up to launch,

FPS operates two strands to its portfolio:
Food Project Services which cover the complete remit of the food product sector with experts in the particular food sector in question while Snack Product Services is primarily focused on the general snacking market as a special interest group with a wide available team covering all the snacking sector product needs.
